Welcome to my 1/6th Scale Military Modelling Hints and Tips Pages.

This hobby is not an obsession... I can give it up at any time!

This website is dedicated to my father and a figure I will never be able to make.

About Me

My name is Gary and I have been making various types of models since I was 10 (many years ago now) and I started collecting 1/6th scale (12") figures in 2004. In the three years that this website has been up and running, I have learned a great deal from my fellow modellers, and this site is my small way of returning to them any information I have learned. As I have found out over the years making models of various scales, that everyone has something to offer and it is usually the small simple ideas that make the most difference.

I hope that in my small way, I may have helped someone during that time. As I am amazed at how many visitors I have had over the past three years, and for the kind comments in my Guestbook. Plus I would like to say thank you, to everyone who has contributed to this website. Because a lot of what is here, is only because of the very generous help I have received in various forms.

So this is my way of saying thank you to all modellers of all scales for all their help over the years.

February Updates

08th February - Trade & Sales Section Section - New items added + Prices

I am afraid that due to the amount of time that this website has taken up with me, I cannot say when it will be updated again with any new figures. This is mainly because most of the methods I use for any new figures, has already been covered on these various pages.

Note: I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all of the kind comments on the forums, the e-mail's and the Guest Book entries over that last three years. Plus all of the contributors, who have helped me to pass on a lot of the information to help my fellow modellers.

Latest Kitbash

For this figure I am working on the boxed Dragon Hermann Stahlschmidt figure, but I have found that I have had to alter the radio that he came with, because a lot of the fittings were missing.

Full credit is always given to people and websites and a special thanks to Mark for all his help with this site.

Many thanks to all of the Byethost staff, for all of the help they have given to me with this website.

Also many thanks to all the people who allowed me to use their website images and text for these pages.
